Was your issue resolved? I made an appointment for this for next Saturday. Too long of a wait.
My brakes lights do not seem to be working either now, I am going to check the fuses in a few.
My scenario:
If I drive easy, no abrupt maneuvers, the light does not come on.
Go over a bump or put those sway bars to use, and the light comes on.
I was able to get the light to turn off by turning the car on/off.
Now,
today, with my brake lights going out on the way home, highway, heavy traffic, it is constantly on: I tried restarting my car twice to no avail.
I really hope this is not a big issue.
