Honestly, depends on how the carbon trunk is designed/copied/built. Structurally, how we have designed it to mount, it needs a lot of what the OE trunk offers. I cannot know for sure how aftermarket companies reinforce the trunk or not, but it would need to be similar to what OE does.
I apologize it took me this long to post the pictures of the trunk opening. Here they are, pretty uneventful as it opens without an issue
