i didnt put any silicon on mine (didnt even think about it). it leaked at first (where the bottom lid screws on). then i tighten it as much as possible and it stopped.

Looks like im not the only one who's resovoir was leaking haha
As soon as I put fluid in mine about 2 weeks after the install it leaked. Still haven't gotten around to actually trying to figure out where it was leaking from.
