3,200-3,400lbs was much lighter than the LS400 at 3,800-3,900lbs.

MK4 weight about the same as the competition (Subaru SVX, 300ZX, R33, 3000GT/GTO).

the current LS is 4,200-4,300lbs. it make much more sense to under FT1 with the much lighter Lexus RC at only 3,500lbs.

chassis refers to body or frame. the MK4 doesn't use the SC's body...

you have an interesting definition of platform and chassis.
