The V6 models were good engines with a nice powerband, they honestly should focus on the weight and handling instead.
See, thats the problem with Genny Coupe. It tried too hard to be a sports car. The '13+ are the best platforms. Yet, IMO, still falls far short of a sports car. I think the '14 2.0 liter Turbo Rspec was its best shot. Still didnt fit the bill. Im sure its why they killed that model. The 3.8, beast of angine, but way too heavy, chassis just not up to it, etc. Probably why they did away with the "Track" model in '14 and called it slimmed it to RSpec and GT. in '15 slimmed it further with base, Rspec and Ultimate. There is no "Track" model for this car. Its too heavy, too sloppy, to soft, etc. Its a Grand Touring platform. If it held the engine specs it does now and lost 400 pounds, throw some coilovers, better tranny, etc, itd be a FANTASTIC sports car. Its not, and if it did have all that with magnesium, carbon fiber, etc its $70K.
