The new Hyundai V6 Turbo GDi has a pair of some of the smallest-looking turbochargers feeding it extra air. Perhaps that’s the reason why the new 3.3-liter unit only makes 27 more horsepower than the non-turbo 3.8-liter, although torque is up noticeably more: 379 lb-ft vs 295 lb-ft (513 Nm vs 400 Nm).

Yea back in the Genesis forum, they have some spy shots of a mule, possible AWD with this (presumably) of the engine. Though more speculation the next gen Coupe will be heavier, probably a 400+hp/390tq to compete with, though not necessarily on the level of BMW, Audi, Mercs, in the same touring couple class for FAR less money. Ive never advocated the Genny Coupe is a true sports car in any flavor. Im sure on a technical course a GT86 will walk it, but as a Grand Tourer, with all the leather, tech and 350HP, in its current form makes a spectacular touring car. The next iteration, I hope, expands on that further. Yet still, no stock V6 Camaro isnt putting any distance on any 3.8 GC anywhere. Puny tires, paltry HP (for the weight), girth is obscene, turn in and the tires pop, hood line is Boston Whaler-esq. No, V6 Camaro is a Secretaries car. Its the new raining champ for that division previously held by pre '11 V6 Stangs. Awful, just awful.
