There is always risk when pushing an engine beyond what is OEM. Not all FA20s experience issues after installing FI, but there have been enough occurrences that I would advise you not to. Even if you don't blow an engine, Rotrex units have also failed. So, if this is your only means of transportation or you don't want the hassle FI on this platform is not for you, IMO.
