I honestly cannot answer any of those questions. I have no idea. OE designed the underhood structure to crumple in a specific way and modifying that underhood structure likely changes how it will act in a crash.

I'm sure Clay can get you some measurements if you need some. It took us about 4 hours to do; mostly because Clay was nervous. Double and triple check the measurements and you should be golden .
