Same here on the moonroof, I've rarely used one in any of the cars I've had that had one. Usually they are just a good source for leaks for me since I keep cars long enough that the real issues with sunroofs show up.
Now if it was a Targa...…..

Coachrhino11 if you look at the "bare bones" of the car you can see why it would be expensive to add a moonroof. There would have to be some major structural changes by creating a frame for the moonroof or any other type of removeable roof for that matter. (remember we are talking factory additions here, not 3rd party that don't have to worry about things like longevity, safety cages, crash test results)
There was a rumor floating around at one point that the chassis was originally engineered to be made directly into a convertible without much change, but it was never substantiated I don't believe.
