Of course, but that doesn't make one not a sports car. If we are limiting it to only the 1 top performing car, then only one car is a sports car at any given time.

There are tons of cars that perform better than your BRZ/FRS/86 that I wouldn't consider sports cars.

The point we were talking about was your definition of a sports car. And a Boxster is still FAR more of a sports car than your BRZ/FRS/86. A Cayman is also. They provide a different experience, and yes, on the track I prefer the Cayman. On the street, I'd go with the Boxster.
