The problem is that they may have seen the problems Edelbrock had with they CARB tune, and they decided to tweak some things, or they are having problems traveling to the states from Australia to do tests and all the stuff that goes into it. At minimum, they have to fly a team here, ship a car or get a donor car, install the kit then CARB test it then perhaps have to retest, etc. I can imagine the distance would be something that delays the process.

Even if someone wants to take the chance to run around with an illegal kit, they still need to pull the kit off each time they smog, and that will be starting next year for 2013 vehicles, so I can imagine Harrop wanting to get the kit approved too, or lose more sales to Edelbrock.

FYI, this thread was started on 7/22/16. That is almost two years ago, and it was for owners; ie, not a product release.
