You'd save maybe $500 if you did it yourself (with new parts), but the time and effort involved in a one-off would exceed that and the saving would be lost (unless you value your time at zero, which of course some people do). Anyone charging $4k+ for the above is making a little too much in my opinion.

Tuning/labour/other_things_like_injectors would be additional costs, sky's the limit.
But remember
Most kits come with fuel pumps and injectors
