I'm still torn on 2nd for T12--for my fastest lap I obviously downshifted, but it's in that weird area where I'm not sure. If I was still on E85 I'd leave it in 3rd for sure--the extra midrange helps a lot.

2nd for 13-14-15 is a no-brainer, though. It gives you such a huge power advantage out of T15.

For 11 and 12, I think I mentioned it when we talked in the pits. By getting on the power early, it induces a tiny bit of understeer that allows me to hit the apex while gaining speed. I get on the gas almost immediately after turn-in.

Edit: I worry that if I get much faster through 4 and 5 I'll run out of 3rd gear mid-corner. Will have to watch out for that if I go back to RE71Rs or R-comps.
