That's a good price but still 3x the cost of a stock motor. Without supporting mods, you couldn't utilize the motor's potential - it would be like running your stock motor all over again, only it probably wouldn't break this time. But with no changes I'd just keep using stock motors, you could detune them a little bit if they kept popping. With supporting mods you'd be right back in the (albeit lower end of) ballpark money-wise. You'd save some $$$$ though, which may be enough for a down payment on a used stingray in the garage too, or maybe a new one of those grand sports...
