Hi Guys,
I'd like to start an official weight reduction thread. I put it in this section because I figured most people interested in weight reduction were going to be those tracking their car. If the mods deem it more appropriate elsewhere, by all means please move it.

I'd like to break it up by vehicle area, and hopefully come back and consolidate the data occasionally so it's all in one place. I've broken it up along the same lines as the forum is segmented. I'm thinking we can collect all OEM data here, as well as weights for aftermarket parts. That way people can quickly reference it to make decisions when making modifications, without having to dig all over the place in separate areas of the forum.

I'll start it off with some data we've gathered on the OEM components. I have more on the way as we pull our project car BRZ apart. I took all weights on one of our postal scales, and have included photo validation where possible. I'd encourage everyone else to do the same to prevent discrepancies and arguments.
