Stoptech 309

Recently replaced my stock brakes with Stoptech 309's and want to leave some impressions. Using my original stock rotor at about 85,000 miles.

First off I'm not sure if I ordered the sport pads or the street pads. Guessing sport pads are for track. My order for StopTech 309.15390 seems to mean I ordered the sport pads. Oops. Came in some good packaging but had no part #'s on it.

Recently installed, I have mixed opinions. They stop good, easy to use. But they don't have bite when cold. And also at low speeds, make some pretty chunky sounds. I'll have to see how they wear in, if the noise will subside any, but this is my main concern. Guess I should have been paying attention and bought the street pads.

At $45-65, these are a pretty good value, but I'm starting to think that the OEM pads might be better suited for using the rest of the stock brake hardware.
