Somehow I doubt it, but I suspect the final production version of that car will have other visual cues to bring it in line with the other two.
They can't make that car look too much like the 86, because that car is designed to be reminiscent of the old Datsun Sports 1000, Austin Healey Sprite, Triumph TR4, etc. These were small cars with big smiling grills. If they mess with the front end of that car too much, they'll lose that market niche.
