While talking about weight. I see everywhere that light cars have carbon doors. I hear everywhere that carbon doors are massively lighter than standard doors. The thing is, I also heard that CF hoods are way lighter than OEM hoods, but it doesnt hold for the twins because of the aluminium hood. So does anyone knows how much a carbon door usually weights and how much a OEM door weights? This might be the first thing I do when the car becomes a trailer car if the gains in weight reduction are half as impressive as people say they are.
