Assuming you buy a decent set of winter tires (not all season) and drive intelligently you will do fine. RWD can get you into more trouble than FF and it can be tricky to get moving at times. though since this car has TC, VSC, LSD, and isn't super torquey down low I don't see it being that bad. My friends M3 has a lot of electronic controls and when they are all enabled it is actually tricky to get the car to do anything to unexpected.

Also worth noting it might be worthwhile to watch the BMW video on YouTube regarding RWD driving in winter/adverse conditions vs FWD. Good video.
