Stickier tires from the factory: = less poweroversteer with stock NA engine power at safer/slower speeds (some customers might expect ease of getting rear out even as stock, due all that hachiroku drift legacy thing, no?), worse specced/claimed fuel mileage numbers (imho those are measured using stock tires, no?), not sure, but maybe slightly also exhaust check results (more fuel burnt should affect it, no?) .. so in general i highly doubt for that to ever happen.
Also i don't see it being limitation/drawback. One will go through many tires set during car life, even more so if car will be taken to track and/or if drifting and imho it's not that bad to familiarize with car/learn it's capabilities first with limited grip primacies.
