It depends what mounts you use. The VAC mounts I used on the driver side are stationary. Once I'm set I'm not moving anyway. Plus a good excuse so crazy friends cant drive it now
Passenger side I used Buddy Club which slide front and back. Weight is the same for both the buddy club were a bit harder to install.
