I thought about this, but suspect the "upgrade" will involve sending the amp in for a refresh *and* pulling a new backbone cable with all the plug-n-play connectors. (Including the connector for the knob).

-more than I care to fool with when the system is already awesome. (Maybe there is an easier way?)
