I have a 2017 Toyota 86 and actually managed to get the steering wheel buttons to work with the spacer, but the horn wire is just a little too short. Now I have to drive around with no horn which I guess is not THAT MUCH of a big deal but still makes me a little anxious...
I haven't looked exactly at it, but i think it's just one wire. So get 3" of similarly gauged wired. Trim off insulation on both ends. Cut the current wire. Trim off insulation on both ends. Solder on both ends to extend. Wrap in a bit of electrical tape or shrink tubing. Plug back in.

If it's two wires, repeat all that but with two wires instead of one.

If you don't know how to solder, google it. It's not hard, and I suck at it.
