The pin-out tables that xcelir8brz posted are for the 2012 Impreza Fujitsu Ten nav, model FW602US, from my NASIOC post
here. (I'd appreciate credit and a link)
There are several differences in the BRZ and FR-S:
- Model number (on front) is FA601US or FM601US (Impreza is FW602US)
- FR-S and BRZ do have speaker amp remote turn-on (used for the amp for the door speakers)
- FR-S Does not have power antenna control on the 10-pin harness. BRZ does.
- Antenna control for the FR-S is on the antenna connector (blue wire on the aftermarket antenna adapter), for the antenna booster amplifier. BRZ does not have that pin on the antenna connector -- uses wire on the 10-pin harness.
Possibly more differences (I haven't seen Subaru's wiring diagrams yet). Does anybody have them they can send me?
And can anyone post pictures of the back, factory harnesses, and the label on the top?
