When running that hot, I would feel more comfortable running 5w30 or even 5w40 as they will start to thin out at those temps down to a 20 weight anyway. Really though I would not want to see temps above 230 on track, and preferably 215 would be best.

I was thinking something along the lines of Red Line's 15w50 race oil. Would that kind of oil be inappropriate for this motor, boosted or not?
