I can overlook a slightly flimsy interior if I can find a mechanically solid M3. And I think the exterior looks fine.

Integra Type-R is a bit similar to OP's vehicle. Decent back seats, and a major repair isn't all that bad.. Would like to see these things always worth 5g's if taken care of for life?

If I find an M3 I will have it inspected thoroughly. And the ITR is like a 5-horned unicorn here. Pretty much not going to happen, and it's not different enough from my EM1 to justify anyways.
Right now I'm eyeing these cars, all manual:
Subaru Legacy GT sedan/wagon (semi-unicorn status)
Lexus IS300 (semi-unicorn status)
BMW E36 M3 coupe/sedan (likely a money pit but most fun to drive)
Acura TSX/TL (the "safe" choice)
Saab 9-3 Viggen (cool in a really weird way)
I will need to start test driving soon!
