How tall is the C7’s hood or ours?

The highest part of the engine has to be at least .8 inches in distance from the hood so when the pedestrian hits they don't strike the engine.

I can't find the actual documents from the NTHSA. I'm not sure if these are regulations that the US shares or if it is just European regulations automakers adhere to since it is cheaper just to use the same hoods.
The LT1 is pushrod so no cams on top, making the engine shorter in height and allowing for the low hood. I don't know the height of the front end, but I think they are comparable.
