Doing a little search, came across this thread and this post. I just bought a TRD spoiler with plans for the exact same mod. What did you use for the LED strip?
My first plan was to put a 3rd brake light in the trunk garnish. But it violates the height requirements (no more than 3" lower than bottom of the rear window).
