FANTASTIC. I was curious about how to access this area above the vent, but haven't opened it up myself just yet. I have the vinyl/foam splitting on one side, and bulging on the other.
I might consider bonding in a thin piece of aluminum to ensure the shape doesn't deform again, but I need to investigate how and where it might fit. I'll report back if I find anything constructive.
