I think I've mentioned somewhere before, but to me, the lowbeam output is very bright. (Btw it's no longer HID, but LED instead) The only car I can compare it with is my previous 2006 Acura tsx with HIDS and this is brighter. I've never owned the previous model year brz so can't compare with those.
Most of the time my lights are one of the brighter ones on the road, so it's definitely bright enough. And it shoots very "white" light, which I like a lot.
