This is what I'm most intrigued by currently:

"BRZ car line manager Todd Hill pointed out that 'the suspension tuning will be different than the Toyota version of the car. I can't say how, but it will be a little bit different.'"

I'm happy that they're cutting back on the amenities in favor of a lower MSRP, but I hope they're not cutting back in any performance or reliability aspect.
