Before i was an ol'fart myself I built a 1967 Toyota Crown with 302GT Windsor, FMX and 9" diff.

Modded cars used to be easy to build thanks to solid chasis, big engine bays, no CanBus or ECU bs, and little if any enforcement of regs.

They were the days when you could open a hood and actually see the engine. Having said that one ting the 86 does have going for it is a roomy engine bay.
