If they offer instructors for free or at lest cheap take them on. Way better having a second head or just some dude telling where to lift/brake and floor it.

I agree. I learned a lot of bad habits from playing Assetto Corsa.
Lower traction tires are not a big deal when learning. You learn to explore the limits of traction at a lower speed. I wish I spent more time on something less grippy when I started out.
