Adding 10-20K to this car gets me thinking about other cars in that price range. It looks like a fun little project but it will have little commercial value. Even if a bunch of kids buy it. I will wait and pick one up from one of these kids for dirt cheap when its all done, maybe. Learn from others, project cars very rarely get anywhere close to the money spent on re-sale. Most people don't want the risk and with the increased price there are some nice cars with factory warranties.
If I had a bunch of money, why not because a project car process is always fun. Hope he at least gets to enjoy his car even if its never available.
