I'd do the all aluminum LM4/L33 5.3L on a budget. It should be all the power I would ever need and be reliable too. I hope the entire swap kit will be priced near their BMW kit. Looking at ~$15k for a properly done swap will be very enticing. That's way better than sinking ~$15k into built turbo fa20 crap with questionable reliability and a glass tranny. Ultimately, it will come down to how much the handling characteristics will be thrown off. I purchased my FRS solely for its handling capabilities. I won't do anything to the car that will hinder those characteristics.
