i did take it someone that does expert paint correction. he also does work on rims. but the cost to actually repair the chrome would cost more than the chrome wheel itself.
it's cost prohibitive and not cheap. not sure if it's worth repairing since it would cost more than the rim itself.
but if i can't find a replacement then maybe i should just do it.

I have seen wheels in worse condition then yours repaired looking brand new.
