Your logic is flawed, the FA20 is the first in Subaru's new engine family. It is silly to assume that just because the first version of this engine is going in to the BRZ, the turbo version is inevitably going to end up in it as well. Subaru happens to also manufacture a car called the WRX, and it is due for replacement.
