The 9th SI (or whatever the current generation is) is:
1.Ugly
2.Stale
3.TALL

Now I haven't driven the 9th SI, but the 8th SI was remarkable on the track. The abundance of parts for the SI is unbelievable. The 8th SI (4dr) was very balanced on the track, and I personally loved the exhaust note.

Although, the 9th SI boasts superior numbers, you really need to drive the car to understand how effective it is at using it's power. There's a reason why the 8th SI was so hot selling where as the 9th SI.... not so much...

Test drive both cars for as long as you can, I test drove the FRS for more than 1 hr (a few sessions, AT and MT) and really learned to love the car.
