Since there isn't a meet up thread for the 604 location, I will make one here. I know there is the Vancouver chat thread but things get too confusing there. Here, we can post meets/events ONLY.
(Easier to keep track of attendance)
Make sure you keep these in mind if you plan on organizing a successful meet...
1. Pick a
location that is convenient for everyone in the area; easy to access/find, and plentiful of parking space. (Try to avoid downtown/pay parking type of areas)
2. Pick a
time and date that is best for everyone; weekend (Fri,Sat & Sun) afternoons are usually the best times if you want a decent number of attendance.
3. If you are organizing the meet,
responsibilities are on you; which means, you have to
(a) follow through with the meet,
(b) make reservations if it's a lunch/dinner meet (if necessary),
(c) try to discourage a rowdy crowd which makes them a target for police/property owners.
Finally; remember, you are representing this car community (FT86) driving the FR-S/BRZ. Please be responsible at all times; those who get out of hand should be asked to leave for the safety of everyone else including the general public.
We do not condone drinking and driving; so please don't drink if you do drive.
