Wait until your first 50 degree morning. You'll really be blown away. I think an ESC is by far the best way to gain real power with this motor. Since I got my Phantom many moons ago, I pretty much never go over 5000 RPM's. There's no need to because that's where the power starts to drop. It's completely the opposite of running without it. Without the ESC your power range is pretty much between 5K and redline. To me what it feels like is a v8 with automatic transmission. When you floor it it feels like the trans downshifting because the RPM's increase immediately, even though you're in the same gear.
Without the ESC, when you floor it, and it just makes more noise. I hate driving this car without it.

Out of curiosity, how does the Torqamp compare to the NOS? I'll bet it's at least equal to it and never needs to be refilled.
