EBC DP51537NDX (rear pads)

EBC does not currently make any rear rotors that will fit the car (verified by EBC themselves). I tried the BSD1057, and although the diameter, thickness, bolt pattern are correct, the "height" of the hat is such that the inside face of the rotor interferes with parts with the dust shield.
What has your experience been with this setup? I went the same route (BSD rotors up front, kept stock rotors at the rear) but with Yellowstuff pads. After nine months, less than 3,000 miles and three or four track days, the front pads are basically worn down to the point of having to be replaced. Rear pads still have plenty of life left. My OEM setup up front lasted MUCH longer.

I'm wondering if the mismatch in rotors cause brake bias to shift forward which wears the front pads down faster.
