I remember watching the Pony as a teenager and the concept was so cool by 1974 standards.
Then the actual cars came here in the early eighties and were absolutely dirt cheap so sold like mad. Then the reasons they were so cheap started to appear. Most were rotted out to the door handles and off the road before they were even 4 years old!
Don't think the US ever got them?
