Thanks. (Learner here... with some basic knowledge of cars/mods but still have plenty of gaps when it comes to the 86/BRZ)

I think that pump on the autos does generate constant vacuum. I found some posts on here related to hooking up a boost gauge on a turbo'd auto, and tapping into the brake booster line didn't work. The gauge just read a constant boost level.

Sounds like you had the same thought I did - i.e. running a vacuum line from unused fitting on the nose of the supercharger. On manuals, that's where the brake booster hose is connected. But on autos, that fitting is plugged. Can anyone confirm that will work?

If that isn't a viable option, I'll probably just rig this up the traditional way.
