Fitment on 18x9.5 +38

Hi, need some guidance on any Fitment related issues for this set up. I know next to nothing about wheels.

I want to run the WedsSport SA-10r (18x9.5 38 is the only size locally available to me). I’ve had a look around the forums but it seems most people commenting on these wheels are running either 18x9.5 +45 or 18x8.5 +38. Fender rubbing and issues with hitting the struts seems to be brought up regarding those 2 sizes.

I want to run these with 255x35 PS4’s, keeping stock shocks and putting lowering springs for a 1 inch drop. Just wanted to know whether anyone knows from experience whether I will run into rubbing issues or have to roll the fenders.

I’m not looking to run coilovers , mess with camber or lower the car any more than 1inch as I have enough trouble on stock height with scraping and it’s my daily.

Also is 9.5 too wide for this car? My current setup is 17x7.5 +40 with 225/45/17

Thanks

This thread got close to giving me the answer I’m looking for but in the end it seemed to relate to the +45 offset version of the wheel.
