Ehhh, I do not agree or disagree but look at all the guys that have $40K in their 86 or BRZ to get just about the same level of performance that the 4 banger will give without the reliability and warranty that it brings. Just put a tune on the little Supra and a FA20 would be a ticking time bomb to match the performance. I do not think the $40K is that bad but for that price I would rather have a lightly used Cayman if I am going to buy a German engineered car.
