I don't disagree for a second. I'm not stating that what the OP has done is safe. It's simply good to know that taller/bigger guys can get the proper amount of headroom if needed.

I would never suggest or recommend that anyone install a fixed back seat, a harness or a full roll cage independently. They all need to work as a unit.......and ideally not on the street.
