According to sprintex it’s technically called a intake vacuum actuator. But most people will know what your referring to if you say bypass valve.

Definitely a good idea to learn as much as you can about your car and the sprintex system in general as there is a lot more to it then just install/setup but maintaining, troubleshooting, and being able to tell/know if/when an issue happens or is about to happen. A lot more involved then maintaining a stock car.

Fixing that will definitely help those fuel trims a lot.
