Ordered the BRZ boot lid liner from
SubaruOnlineParts.COM a few weeks back and received it early last week. Finally had a few minutes to snap it in. I was a little disappointed that it is basically a PVC backing with a thin layer of felt on it because I had wanted to have it embroidered with a logo and my 1st86 serial number. For now though, I've installed as is.
The liner is a perfect match for the rest of the trunk liner.
Here's what came in the box. The Liner, 7 push connectors, two air fresheners (smell like apple I think) and a BRZ accessory catalog.
And here are close-ups of the parts labels and the back of the liner...
Not much to installing it. It's precut and prepunched so it really just slides in place, and you slip the connectors in. It took longer to get the connectors out of the wrap then it did to install.
Here's before and after.
Also, here's a view from the inside with the trunk closed, since this was asked for in another thread. The area below the yellow line is what you see when I am in a driving position and look either in the rear view mirror or turn around.
Some may want to cover all the body color, in which case you'll need to go custom. I don't drive with the seat down unless I'm hauling stuff so my real goal was covering the holes and the wires, which this does.
