As much as it would appear that the people that are buying the 86/BRZ would like this "upgrade" I don't think that many will actually do it. Different target market.

I think it's safe to say that the majority of 86 owners would want more power. If Toyota decides to make a manual variant of the Supra I wouldn't mind picking one up in several years.
