All this steering wheel talk reminds me of the time I bought my 16 year old son a POS starter car. As, with all the kids, I'd tune up the car, put new tires and brakes on them .....then they were on their own.
So, we pulled the POS into the garage and pulled the brakes off it. I sent my son up the automotive store to buy brake shoes for the front and rear. He came back with a "racing steering wheel" ...... and no brake parts, because they didn't have them in stock.
I promptly sent him back to return the steering wheel and go to another automotive store for the brake shoes ...... SMH
